Article 10 Elections, Officers Directors  Qualified candidates for officers and directors-at-large shall be selected by the nominating committee and presented to the membership for election at the annual meeting. Nominations from the floor will be also accepted, providing the nominee is qualified to serve and is present at this meeting. If not present, nominee must have filed a declaration with the secretary of the Association that, if elected, he or she will serve. If more than one candidate has been nominated for any officer positions or any available directors-at-large position, the vote shall be held by written ballot. A majority of the votes cast by qualified voters in attendance shall elect. The Board shall make recommendations to the nominating committee. Elected Board members shall assume office at the beginning of the fiscal year following their election. | ||||||||
