When I was 18 years old, I discovered movement therapy and bodywork.
I went to Oregon State University to become a personal trainer, receiving a degree in Exercise and Sport Science.
After OSU, I apprenticed and learned from many experienced and highly talented bodywork pioneers.
Well after beginning absorbing and embodying this work, I realized I needed to go to Massage Therapy School. I attended Oregon School of Massage Therapy and have been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2002.
I continue to take continuing education classes and read anything I can to further develop my understanding of the application and effects of bodywork, always furthering my knowledge and passion for movement and relaxation.
In my spare time I enjoy drumming, writing music, hanging with my dog, Makani and kiteboarding at the Oregon coast.
