The Commerce Opera House was built in the late 1800's.

Renovations on the Opera House started in 2002. The crew had to battle the hundreds of bats that have made it their home. The good news is that today we only have a few of these big guys left.

The spider problem has always been a challenge because we can't seem to kill the queen.

This is the only shot we've been able to get of her. No, I didn't get here with my hammer. I was so scared stiff I didn't even get a swing off.

Every Year we get volunteers like you to come in October to help us rid the Opera House of all its varmint. The number of volunteer losses has drop lately and after all it is for a great cause.  See you soon.
