Performance Enhancement
Injury Prevention and Recovery
Postural Re-Education
For over 100 years, The Alexander Technique helped performing artists to improve skill, safety and efficiency in performance. The habit of performing daily and specialized activities with excess muscle tension can interfere with co-ordination, cause compression on joints and nerves, and contribute to pain, stress and fatigue. By learning to release excess muscular effort and move in accordance with the design of your body, you will increase flexibility, reduce your risk for injury, improve your skill in performance and feel lighter and easier throughout the day.
The Alexander Technique is taught in Performing Arts Programs throughout the world:
The Juilliard School
Manhattan School of Music
Mannes College
Carnegie Melon University
NYU
The Royal Academy of Music
Guild Hall
