Introduction to the new translation of the Roman Missal

A new English translation of the prayers and responses for the Eucharistic Liturgy will go into use beginning on the First Sunday of Advent, November 27, 2011.

This new translation will require both the clergy and the faithful to learn new versions of familiar prayers, acclamations and responses.

The articles on this page are intended to help the members of our community understand the nature of the new translation, and appreciate the difficulty that these changes pose.
