CARAVAN ORGANIZATION
1.A lead car should be designated.
2. Keep in sight the car behind you.
3. Large caravans traveling in heavy traffic areas should break into groups of 7 or 8 cars with a designated leader for each group.
4. Route maps should be provided as often as possible.
"Pit Stops" should be identified prior to leaving and all groups will meet at each pit stop to insure EVERYONE arrived at the final destination safely.
5. In Town, it may be necessary to re-group after several stop lights of stop signs.
6. Absolutely no passing other members of the caravan unless the member waves you around.
7. Use hand signals when slowing down to a stop in the caravan.
8. Obey all speed signs and other traffic signs.
DRIVING FROM TOWN TO TOWN
1. A lead car should be designated.
2. Keep in sight the car behind you.
3. Re-group at the city limits of town where open highway speed signs are posted.
4. Absolutely no passing other members of the caravan unless the member waves you around.
5. Allow car-passing space between cars, one car length for every 10 MPH.
6. Use hand signals when slowing down, stopping or turning.
7. Obey all speed signs and other traffic signs.
