Hi! Let me tell you a little about myself.
My greatest enjoyment is art. I love to paint while listening to music. This has been an interest all my life. I can seldom get enough of it.
I was born in Cleveland, Ohio, one of five children with an unusual childhood. My mother, from Brecksville, Ohio, also is an artist, and used to work as an art illustrator for magazines, before getting married. My father, from Minnesota, was a free-lance writer who wrote books and feature articles. My brother and sisters are active in the medical, health, Internet business, and art fields.
When I was five, my family moved to Mexico, where we lived in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico City, and Cuernavaca. In all, we lived in Mexico about eleven years. Our mother taught us at home. Our grandmothers would send us books as gifts, so early in life we learned the pleasure of reading. Spiritual books particularly appeal to me. My family moved to south Texas, where I graduated from high school and then U.T. Pan American. I now attend a Unity church, where Christianity is presented most in accordance to my spiritual /metaphysical interests.
At this time I work for a non-profit organization. In the past, I’ve worked in various fields, having been a registered medical technologist, bookkeeper, and certified special-education teacher. Most of all, I love creating art.
Like my father, I’ve always wanted to be self-employed. Self-employment gives me so much more freedom and self-determination. Two cats live with me in the country, which we love. It is a privilege to be close to nature and wildlife. I especially enjoy sunflowers, birds singing in the morning, and the fireflies that often come at twilight. It is so much more beautiful than one could hope to paint.
