NEWS FLASH! PINTO HORSES of the YEAR (2007) JUST ANNOUNCED and THREE ARE HORSES TRAINED & SHOWN by TODD GOODWIN of the DIAMOND L ARENA! Congratulations to Docs Peppy Jo (2007 Pinto Heeling Horse of the Year) - Skip N Ill Do (2007 Steer Stopping Horse of the Year) and Painted Peppy Jo (2007 Heading Horse of the Year). All three horses are owned by Richard Paus of Pahrump, NV Skip N Ill Do and Painted Peppy Jo are standing the 2008 Season at the Diamond L Arena.
2007 World & Zone Show a HUGE Success!
Over Memorial Day Weekend, Fergen Ranch, owned by Virgil and Carol Fergen, received National recognition when their four year old gelding, FR Gentleman Jethro, was named the Zone II Overall Circuit Champion Jr Horse at the prestigious Zone II Zone O'Rama held in South Jordan, UT. This show was one of the top five shows in APHA in 2006 and show managers are certain that this year's show will again be one of largest attended shows in 2007. FR Gentleman Jethro is trained and shown by Todd Goodwin of Sandy Valley based training facility, the Diamond L Arena. FR Gentleman Jethro also unofficially received Register of Merit in three events. Photos Coming Soon!

Painted Peppy Jo - Reserve World Champion
The show and training team of the Diamond L Arena then made the two day trek to Tulsa, OK for the Pinto World Championship Show. After a competetive 14 hours in the show ring, the group received two World Champion Titles and five Reserve World Champion Titles for their efforts with Skip N Ill Do, Smoken Sugar Rey, Docs Peppy Jo, Painted Peppy Jo (all owned by Richard Paus & trained by Todd Goodwin with cutting training by Chris Denmar), Miss Super Bowl (owned by Zona McCracken and trained by Todd Goodwin) and Three N Wrangler (owned by Carolyn White with assistance by Todd Goodwin and Eric Wadley). The horses were exhibited by Todd Goodwin, Eric Wadley, and Chris Denmar with Carolyn White showing Amateur events. Krystal Conaway, also did the training team of the Diamond L Arena and Sandy Valley proud when she competed in the four day Walk Trot Futurity at the Early Thaw Paint and Quarter Horse Show. Krystal competed in Trail, Horsemanship, Showmanship, and Western Pleasure to earn a new Championship buckle and leather gear bag. Krystal was recently named as the Nevada PHC 2007 High Point Walk Trot Champion, High Point Walk Trot Trail Champion, and Reserve High Point Western Pleasure Champion. Krystal is currently learning to rope. Krystal and her horse, Miss Super Bowl, are trained by Todd Goodwin of the Diamond L Arena. Miss Super Bowl is owned by Zona McCracken of Pahrump, NV Krystal is the daughter of Steve and Glynda Conaway. Miss Super Bowl also received the 2007 Early Thaw Paint and Quarter Horse Show High Point Paint Cattle Horse and High Point Paint Horse Award. NEWS UPDATE! Krystal Conaway was named the 2007 Nevada Paint Horse Club High Point Walk Trot Youth Overall, High Point Walk Trot Trail, and the Reserve High Point Walk Trot Western Pleasure Rider. Congratulations Krystal. Miss Super Bowl is pregnant so Krystal is working on Miss Super Bowl's little brother, Bubba. Look for Krystal and Classy Super Boy in 2010.
