We design our own pieces and get our creative thoughts from sources and experiences in travel, architecture, sculpture, painting, drawing, fashion and appreciation of the outdoors.
We start with a sketch and develop that design into a carved wax or wood mold. At our foundry, the mold is then inserted into compacted sand and having left an impression, this sand then becomes the form (sandcasting). After the molten metal is poured and the metal cools, the piece is broken away from the sand and the polishing begins.
This high polished look is what makes our pewter distinctive. Our pewter, with its natural imperfections, has the appearance of fine silver, but in fact is a special metal alloy with no surface plating or coating. This alloy contains no lead, is completely food safe and will not tarnish.
