Jud Little Bio

      Born and raised in Ardmore Oklahoma Jud Little saw his future with horses from a very young age. His mother’s love of horses was passed to her son and his life time pursuit of horses and the sport of horses is legend.

        At Culver Military Academy in Culver Indiana, Jud was Captain of the Polo Team and Lancer Platoon Mounted Drill Team. Jud went on to play Polo around the world while earning a Bachelor Degree of Science in Economics from The Wharton School of Finance and Commerce at the University of Pennsylvania. 

        Jud has held many public and civic board positions including: Commissioner of Oklahoma Department of Wildlife, Culver Legion Board, Director of Ardmore Chamber of Commerce, member of the Board of Trustees at Memorial Hospital and member of the Wildcatters Club of Oklahoma and many more. All this while raising two children, a son Williamson Penn Little, and a daughter Mattie Mires Little. 

        Today, Jud Little raises top performance horses on his 1700 acre ranch just north of Ardmore Oklahoma where he is CEO and Owner of The Quintin Little Company, Inc. an independent Oil and Gas Production and Exploration company.  

        A visit to the Jud Little Ranch is a thrill for any horseman. From top broodmares, to World Champion bred stallions, the ranch is a master piece of professionalism. Just watching the yearlings run thru the tall grass is a joy. 

       Jud has raised many Champions and World Champion Barrel Racing horses. His current goal is to continue to push the barrel racing industry to new levels and he is more than happy to help those who seek him out.  

          The inspiration for all barrel racers in today’s market is Jud Little and his Bar Nothin Ranch.
