2008 was a year filled with trials and tribulations. But there were also triumphs and moments of shear joy! I was able to capture one of those moments in this portrait of our two girls, "Gracie", the Siamese, and her sister "Kukui", a very shy Snowshoe. (That's a pink scar on her nose; it is shaped somewhat like a Christmas tree.)

This drawing celebrates all the little miracles we experience in our lives every day. It has become one of my personal goals to become more aware of them.

"Miracles"is an original colored pencil drawing on 100% cotton rag paper. The image measures 6 1/2" x 9 1/2"; the paper measures 10" x 12". It is currently single matted and framed to 11" x 14".
