Better Health Toolbox
-
Proper nutrition is the key to a healthy, active, enjoyable life. I recently met the owners of RootsNutrition.com, Dr. Romeo and Mai Brooks. Since meeting them, they have literally been a constant blessing to my life by challenging me to lose weight, work out and improve my overall well being by changing my eating habits. I knew I needed to do that anyway so they were the "mechanism" regarding "how" and "what" I needed to do to make my "intention" real. I am going to dedicate this page to sharing their concepts, tools and advice so that you too, can benefit from their wisdom and education about our precious bodies and how to get them to work better for us.

List of ALKALINE and ACID Foods
-
General Guidance to ingest more ALKALINE foods:
Stick to salads, fresh vegetables and healthy nuts and oils. Try to consume plenty of raw foods and at least 2-3 litres of clean, pure water daily.
General Guidance when it comes to ACID foods: Steer clear of fatty meats, dairy, cheese, sweets, chocolates, alcohol and tobacco. Packaged foods are often full of hidden offenders and microwaved meals are full of sugars and salts. Over cooking also removes all of the nutrition from a meal!
