Yeah, I know I tend to get long winded. I'll try to keep it short today. But I've got to repeat this sentiment for those who didn't read it yesterday.God is so good and omniscient that centuries ago, He lovingly sent His son Jesus Christ for such a time as THIS. We just have to be wise enough to see His plan in motion in 2002.
He sent His son as the NEW covenant that REPLACED OBEDIENCE TO THE LAW OF RELIGION with SPIRITUALITY--a LOVE RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD THROUGH HIS SON, JESUS CHRIST.The ANSWER in these turbulent times is NOT LAW, but LOVE. Accepting the LOVE of Jesus Christ IS THE ANSWER TO THE MIDDLE EAST CRISIS. Not to become a Christian, as we have learned in RELIGION, but to have a RELATIONSHIP with Jesus Christ. It starts with believing that, Jesus, a SINLESS man, died for EVERYONE's sins and rose from the dead 3 days later. If we BELIEVE in HIM then we are the beneficiaries of His LOVING SACRIFICE and OUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN. We can then FORGIVE OTHERS AND BE FREE OF the bondage of the GUILT we feel BECAUSE OF THE EVIL WE HAVE DONE TO OTHERS. WE can only do this because of what we BELIEVE JESUS did for us. After that, it's a process as we continue our walk with God. A lifetime process. KABC Talk show host, Leo Terrell was right, this is a religious conflict, not a political one and cannot be solved by political means. It's a conflict between RELIGIOUS INSTITUTIONS determined to continue their control, manipulation and suppression of people, but God ain't having it! Spirituality is a loving relationship between your spirit and the spirit of God. God knew the day would return when His people would fight over the law, the land and the legacy so He sent His son Jesus Christ so people would not be distracted by the law of religions. Rather, we would ultimately focus on LOVE, and exist in this world peacefully among His tapestry of races, creeds, and colors of all people...BECAUSE JESUS IS LOVE. - Jesus was a Jew. So Jews should be honored that God delivered Jesus through their people.
- Jesus came from Palestine, so Palestinians/Arabs (Muslims) should be honored that God delivered Jesus through their land.
- Jesus is the Christ, so Christians should remember that God saved them through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ with a FORGIVING faith that could heal the world.
God included everyone in the mix for such a time as THIS. EVERYONE, EVERYWHERE CAN RELATE TO LOVE. Bush, Sharon, Arafat and other world leaders are stumped. They don't know what to do because this is not POLITICAL work.
WE NEED SPIRITUAL LEADERS, like Noel Jones, T. D. Jakes, Rod Parsley, Bill Winston, Kenneth Copeland and Benny Hinn TO TALK with Yassir Arafat, Ariel Sharon, George Dubya, Colin Powell and Tony Blair, OR THE VIOLENCE WILL NEVER STOP!
The real work, however, is for ALL of God's children to do, not just the leaders. Bush did a great thing when he went to God after 9/11/01. The National Day of Prayer brought together Christians, who normally hate each other, to pray at a Catholic church in Wash., D. C.. But now we're witnessing Catholic priests being busted and defrocked for molesting children. Didn't do much for the Christian RELIGION of Catholicism, did it? That's why we can't get hung up on "religion." FORGIVENESS & LOVE. THAT'S WHAT JESUS REPRESENTED.
It is our RESPONSIBILITY to share His light, His love and His forgiveness. I don't know about you, but God has given me numerous testimonies and made it clear that HE has MY back. He made it clear that I owe my life to Him and Him alone. I've suffered abuse, life threatening illness, lost valuable friendships and dealt with financial challenges. He SAVED me from the abuse, the illness, refined my gifts so my career can flourish, sustained me financially and infused my life with new friends and circumstances that inspire me to do His will for my life. After the pain cames blessings beyond your imaginings. Romans 8:28 is my story. Jeremiah 33:3 also blessed me. I sometimes forgot and gave people credit, when in reality, God USES people and institutions to do His will. To say Jesus Christ is the answer is like saying "it's morning." Kind of obvious, but such an understatement. WHEN GOD BLESSES YOU WITH ANOTHER MORNING YOU HAVE ANOTHER CHANCE TO BE FRUITFUL AND MAKE YOUR LIFE COUNT FOR SOMETHING.
By the same token, JESUS is the omnipotient, magnificent, eminent answer to problems in your life AND to the conflict in the Middle East..
