The love of crystals, stones, gems, whatever you want to call them, is easy to understand. They are colourful, pretty, durable, unchanging and brilliant. Moreover, crystals have long been used as medicinal properties. Crystals are natural elements from the earth. Their colours are partly responsible for the belief of medicinal powers; having been formed by forces of nature, of the elements. Some believe there is a special bond between the owner or wearer of the particular crystal; that the gems when applied to the body exacts an action upon on the body.
