Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor, the brain scientist who experienced a stroke from the inside out - This 18 minute videopresentation via www.ted.com was shot in February 2008. Since then, Dr. Jill;s book, "My Stroke of Insight" has hit the bookstores, she was on the cover of the May 12 issue of Time Magazine as one of the most influential people in the world, she taped a video series with Oprah (the Soul Series at www.oprah.com), and she tells me there's talk of a movie of her story. Her book documents her entire experience, from the onset of the stroke in the left side of her brain and her 10 year recovery process. Told with wisdom and humor, she travels sharing her story to benefit not just stroke or brain injured people and their care givers, but to benefit everyone by encouraging us to "step to the right of our left brain" and tap in to the potential we all have to live a more conscious life.
