Dear Lisa,
We are both writing to you to let you know how we are doing. We now both have an identity. I am Maddy, the big sister. Kelly and Jason named me after Madeline from the poodle rescue. Peaches is my little sister. Kelly and Jason named her that because she is sweet and looks just like a peach. Thanks to you we both have a place we can call home. It is so nice and cosy here. Jason and Kelly let us sit on the couch all the time and we snuggle with them in bed every night. We have already gone to Grandma's house to say hi and we get to go to the pet store all the time. We ride in the car and love to smell the fresh air blowing through our hair. I like Kelly a little more because she is just like me. Peaches likes Jason because he is so mellow. We just can't thank you enough for rescuing us from that horrible place. We never knew life could be as wonderful as it is now. We have already been groomed by Madeline once and can't wait to go from now on. We have tons of toys and have a full belly on a regular basis.
We know that what you did was very courageous and we owe you our lives. We also know that Kelly was very sad and would cry all the time because she lost her best friend (Casey). We see she is so much happier and loves to come home to us wagging our tails and ready to play in the yard.
Peaches is taking a little longer to learn not to pee in the house but I know she will get the hang of it soon. I have already learned to go outside when I need to. We love to peak in on Kelly in the shower and we get to give her kisses when her lips are wet from the water.
We will be going to a training school that we heard Jason and Kelly talking about. I am a little scared but I am sure I will meet a lot of new friends there. All of Jason and Kelly's friends adore us. We always dreamed that someone would love us unconditionally.
We have to go and play with our toys, but we will keep you up to date on how we are doing. We hope you never forget about us, because we will never forget about you.
Love always and forever,
Maddy and Peaches
