Heidi and Joe Hamilton write:
Little Willow was all of 8 pounds when she was turned in to the North Los Angeles City Shelter as a stray. Her ears and stomach were black from poor diet, neglect and possible infections. She did not have hair on much of her neck and underside and she had been pulling the hair off her legs and feet. But none of that dampened Willow's spirits as she quickly became a spunky part of our family.
Willow immediately started playing with Piper our female Standard Poodle and they became the best of friends. Willow is a street savvy girl who liked everyone and every animal she encountered while she stayed with us.
She now resides in Apple Valley, California with a wonderful woman named Evelyn. Evelyn reports that Willow likes to sit on the back of the couch in the sun and look out the window and patrol the backyard while Evelyn does yard work.

Hi Heidi,
Enclosed is a picture of Willow, now known as Gypsy Rose. Sorry it's so late, the first time she was groomed, it wasn't a very good job. The next time I took her to another grooming shop and it was good but when we decided to take pictures it was so windy that we only took a few. When I get a better picture of her I will send it along to you.
She is doing very well except she scratches and bites quite a bit, as a result today she starts on a new food for her skin and the Vet changed her medicine. He wants to see her again on July 8th.
She now weighs 8 1/2 pounds and she loves to lay on top of the couch in front of the big living room window.
Everyone thinks she is soooo cute. I love her to death, ALMOST.
Love,
Evelyn
