Introduction

In the current climate of intense competion for fund-raising dollars, organizations are seeking new and innovative fund-raising approaches that will generate the greatest income possible, place minimal demands on budget and administrative time, and provide an on-going source of funds. Ideally a fund-raiser solidly supports and promotes the philosophy and goals of the organization. It is simple and well organized, and it benefits it's participants. The fund-raising concept outlined in this proposal meets all of these criteria.

GOALS

1.To provide a long term,low cost and low maintanence fund-raising process for your school or organization.
2.To have a positive influence on the lives of the fundraising program participants by providing access to high quality products and free educational presentations that will help unify the world through new technology that improves the way people work, communicate, learn, shop, and play.

CONCEPT OVERVIEW

As independent representives of Big Planet, we market the company's full suite of high technology products and services, which include Internet, telecommunications, and unified messaging services designed specifically for the consumer and small ofice and home office(SOHO) markets. We are proposing that your school or organization join us in making these exceptional products and services available to the participating families. By asking everyone to redirect their spending on services which they already use on a regular basis, your school or organization will earn monthly residual bonus income on all services. In effect your school or organization becomes it's own source of fund-raising through simple redirection of services to the home and businesses. Funds would be paid directly each month from Big Planet to your school or organization. This process results in significantly less overhead, and administrative time than other fund-raising methods.

A supporting representive team consisting of myself and my sponsor will work closely with your school or organization to provide ongoing coordination of all aspects of the fundraising program at no cost to your organization. The supporting representives will manage the distribution of product/services information, coordinate presentations on new products/services as they become available, and provide other services as outlined in this proposal.

THE FUND RAISING PROCESS

By completing Representive and Corporation Ageement forms, your school or organization would become a representive of Big Planet, with a unique Representive Sponsor Identification Number assigned to your school or organization.

An information package would be made available to fundraising program participants. The package would include a letter from your leadership describing the fundraising concept and potential benefits to the various services provided by your school or organization.

Presentations would be held periodically for fundraising program participants to provide information on new products and services. the cost for meetings would be borne by the supporting representives.

Participants would order products and services directly from the Big Planet WWW (Internet) site, and all purchases would be attributed to your school or organization's Representive ID Number.

Once a month a check would be paid directly from Big Planet to your school or organization for 10-15% of the volume represented by all services used by the participants. A computer printout detailing all sales activity would also be provided.

Once a month the supporting representatives would receive a check for 15% of the volume represented by all the services used by the participants. As all compensation for their contribution to the fundraising effort is paid by Big Planet, there is no requirement for any exchange of funds between your school or organization and the supporting representives.

As part of their contribution to the fundraising effort, the supporting representive will provide input to your school or organization's newletters,develop informational flyers, and support various other aspects of the fundraising program as needed.

SAMPLE CALCULATION

Based on realistic assumptions, the following sample calculation illustrates the income potential of the proposed funraising effort.
Assumptions:
100 participating families
Each participant spends $100 per month for services to their home (Internet access, long distance, mobile phones,pagers,etc.) Commissionable volume is estimated to be 20% of the total cost of services used,=100x100x0.20=$2000
Income Calculations:
Bonus income=Commissable volume x 15%=$2000x0.15=$300 per month

Expenses:
There are NO direct expenses other than the initial fee to become a Big Planet Representative($25.00+tax), and the annual materials fee, estimated to be $25.00 plus tax. All service signups by the participating families are done online via the Big Planet Web Page.

Possibilities:
Above projections could significantly increase if one or more families decided to build their own network as a full-time or part-time business, conceivably providing several thousand dollars per month to your school or organization. Futhermore, purchases made online at the Big Planet Store will add to the revenues received.
NEW:Customer Acquisition Bonus:for each family switching to Big Planet's ISP and staying with the service for at least 60 days, your school or organization will receive $20 for each Access Unlimited connection and $25 for each Access PRO connection. For each family switching to Big Planet's long distance, your school or organization will receive $20. Based on 100 families, that could mean $2000-$3000 to your group within 90 days!!!

COMMITMENTS
Supporting Distributors
1.Coordinate free periodic informational meetings to provide an overview of the products and services and answer specific questions.
2.Work closely with the School Coordinator.
3.Develop periodic reports to the Association leadership.
4.Provide materials to newsletters and other Association media as appropiate.

Your School or Organization

1.Formally endorses the fund-raising effort.
2.Explains the process to, and asks participation from selected participant groups.
3.Assigns an individual as Coordinator.
4.Periodically updates the participants on the success of the program.
