Fish Report- Nov 11

INSHORE


Striped Bass  


Fall migration is in full swing along South Shore from Point Judith to Watch hill.  Anglers catching fish from both boat adn shore.  Surface plugs have had best results.  Block Island's SW Ledge has also been productive fishing with live eels.                                                                                


TAUTOG


Starting to move to deeper water but still good off Brenton Reef and alittle slower off rocky bottom areas off Narragansett with more throw backs.



Cod


SE Corner of Cox's has had fair reports, anglers fishing south of Block Island have also had fair results.  Dogfish are present but tollerable.


Black Seabass


Some black seabass in rocky bottom areas outside Harbor of Refuge, but hard to catch in State waters.                                         


OFFSHORE


Bluefin Tuna


Tautog anglers sited 80 lb bluefin south of Newport.
