FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

DO I NEED A DISPLAY TO BE IN THE SHOW?

It's helpful but not necessary, we will provide a standard 6 ft. table and two chairs.  Just spread out your literature and products. Of course, displays add excitement and belief. Usually about half of the participants have displays

WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE BROCHURES?

You really just need a few products and your business cards.  After all, you are the best presentation of your company products and services.

CAN I SET UP THE DAY BEFORE?

In the past we have been able to make arrangements to set up your display the night before.  You can come in as early as 6:30 the morning of the show to set up.

DO I NEED STAFF TO BE AT THE SHOW?

No, you can layout your literature, display and products. Let your materials do the work.  Ideally, We do recommend a representative be present to answer questions and collect referrals.  A fish bowl with a drawing is a good way to collect leads.

WHAT WILL HELP MAKE A MORE EFFECTIVE SHOW?

Have a sharp representative at your booth, who knows your products and services. How to dress? A sportcoat/tie for the men and business atire for the ladies.  Handing out promotional items and a drawing help break the ice. Send mailouts and make phone calls announcing your participation - invite clients and friends to your booth. Make an announcement with email broadcasts or direct mailouts.

HOW EFFECTIVE IS THE SHOW FOR LEAD AND SALES GENERATION?

Like any endeaver, the secret to the show is you.  Move around, meet people, get creative ideas, trade leads with other vendors.  We do not have high 'public' traffic but the business to business contacting is invaluable.  Be ready to develop and discuss 'business-to-business' read exchange programs and incentives.

HOW MANY OF MY EMPLOYEES AND HELPERS CAN I BRING TO THE SHOW?

Bring as many as you feel necessary to help with your booth.

WERE DO I EAT?

The club will provide a lunch at a reasonable price.  We also have several restaurants.  Jacksons Restaurant, Subways and a chinese restaurant. It's a close drive for pizza at Vinnie's, quick sandwich at Scorecard Deli, light food at Jay's place.  Canonsburg offers fast food, Chinese, Starbucks and more.

WHO DO I CALL FOR ANSWER TO QUESTIONS?

It is best to e-mail me, Don Hodor at dhodor@southpointe.net.  or call the office at  724-873-7777.  Morning is the best time to reach Don.
