Back-to-School Supplies

Parents can request school supplies through the teachers at the following schools:

King Elementary
Humbolt Elementary
Meek Elementary
Chatman School

The SE Marshall School Cluster will also serve 14 schools. The contact person is Jackie at 503-916-5196. Proof of residence will be required. The children are to attend the Back to School Fair where they will complete a registration to receive supplies. The supplies will then be waiting for them at the start of school.




KOIN - Salvation Army Drive
The Salvation Army holds their Back to School Drive the 1st of August and could possible do it for a one-month period.  HOWEVER, this year (2002) they filled all 1500 applicants in 1 1/2 days and closed their services.

For Services: 1) You must live in the area and go the Salvation Army nearest your residence, 2) you must SHOW up to sign up, and 3) you must bring I.D. such as Driver's License, Social Security Card, or Oregon Health Plan Card.

NOTE: An applicant can only receive Back-to School supplies for their family every OTHER year.  Only four children per family can qualify.
