- Course is offered every term
- Classes are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6-9 p.m.
- After 5 weeks you start your clinical hours. Section 1 meets Wednesday and Thursdays day shift. Section 2 meets Saturday and Sunday during the day shift
- Cost is approximately $660. Total cost of training is approximately $1200
- Limited entry program requiring completion of admission packet including immunizations, CPR class, and criminal background check

- There are three instructors and two locations. One of the locations is Crestview, which is located at 6530 SW 30th. The other location is Care Center East
- You register for the courses through Portland Community College -- just pick up the schedule of classes every quarter to see if there's a course that will work for you. If the courses are full or do not work with your schedule, call Kristine. There may be more courses available than what's listed in the PCC schedule of classes
- One of the instructors teaches a 6-week course regularly
- Another instructor teaches a 9-week course regularly
- The third instructor teaches a 5-week course every 6 to 7 weeks
- It costs $475 (but if you're hired within the first year at a state facility that accepts Medicaid you will be reimbursed)
