The book, The Divine Attributes and Origins of Being, offers a more in depth treatment of the origins of Humankind and includes additional traditions. These traditions focus on the creation and nature of the universe.
The first of these accounts is a more thorough treatment of the creation as rendered by Hermetic Philosophy to be introduced to you in Chapter 3, below: "THE ALL" becomes "involved" in an involuntary expansion to lower vibrations and, thus, course matter is created. Then, begins the voluntary return of the "Units of Force" becomes highly individualized Units of Life and re-enter THE ALL.
The next tradition of creation sited originates from accounts (circa 1300 BC) said to have been written by Moses, known to the Jewish, Islamic, and Christian traditions as a prophet of God. The organization of the cosmos, from the Void to the universe as we know it, is described. This tradition includes accounts of both the "spiritual" and "physical" creations of Humankind. The sources of these accounts are two translations of the "Book of Genesis" in The Holy Bible. Also sited are Christian account of Jesus of Nazareth (circa AD 33), specifically of his death and resurrection. Similarities with the Jewish and, especially, to the Egyptian traditions will be noted. Next is an outline of the creation and origins of Humankind as found in the writings and translations of Joseph Smith (circa AD 1830), known as The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" or "the Mormons" as a prophet of God in his time. This account has marvelous correlations with nearly all the metaphorical elements presented.
In an effort to test for observable truth, this larger work also includes a comparison of each of the elements of the above mentioned traditions to the observations noted by modern science, from the views of both classical and quantum physics.
(The differences of these sciences are to be explained in the appropriate chapters.) (Proper credits for each theory of physics will be given.)
Surprisingly, the Hermetic sciences, the Biblical account of creation, and the Native American Medicine Wheel each offer remarkable descriptions in metaphor of some of the scientific data that are now observed by modern physicists.
Modern physics remains very enigmatic / obscure to our present day world; they are hard to understand because they lack a familiar literary context. Just such a context is provided readily by the cultural traditions sited in this work. Yet, as you will discover, these cultural traditions, without the aid of telescopes and particle accelerators now used in modern sciences, use metaphors to teach the principles of modern science (meaning “Truth” as is believed in our society); and that these metaphors were equally / more effective to these ancient peoples much less "civilized" and much "less-advanced" world via metaphors.
Perhaps, the context of modern science will provide alternatives to the otherwise rigid, event-oriented interpretations of the Bible and other traditions. I am even more hopeful that these "primitive" traditions will provide "advanced" insight into the meaning and application of modern scientific discoveries toward your own fulfillment and happiness. And, most importantly, by combining all the metaphors -- of the cultural traditions and of modern science, you will have a more clear understanding and the ability to make a more powerful personal application of all the Attributes, or a single Attribute that interests you most.
It is my hope that your imagination will be inspired as to a more personal experience of the possible origins of the universe, of material reality, and of yourself as a “Being,” however conscious.
