Value Action Alert

Your input below is important.
No matter your opinion or feedback, your commitment to respond to this invitation is a source of hope for your Personal Freedom.

SUMMARY:
In violation of federal law, at least one news commentator was paid money to "report" a "news" story that was really an advertisement.

"This happens all the time." The news commentator who was caught breaking the law continued, ... and "there are others."

(Federal law requirements for advertisers are reviewed below.) You and I can act to make sure this violation of law stops and that it does NOT happen again by getting our Senators, Congressional Representatives and the FCC involved. If you don't do it, who will? MORE DETAILS are below, if needed...

Fill in the Blanks and click Submit. I appreciate your input.

HERE ARE SOME DETAILS:

You've probably heard by now: Political commentator Armstrong Williams admitted receiving $240,000 from the Department of Education to promote the Bush administration's No Child Left Behind Act on national television -- including dozens of Sinclair stations -- without disclosing that he was on the government's payroll. "This happens all the time," the reported told The Nation. "There are others." Sinclair told the Hollywood Reporter that it's conducting an "internal investigation," but you and I can make sure that Congress and the FCC stays invovled!

Laws have been broken. The reporter issued an apology in hopes that this scandal will go away. With our help, it won't. Join us in demanding that Congress and the FCC launch a thorough investigation and inforce our laws and/or introduce legislation or regulations specifically to outlaw "payola punditry" if required.
