Vulcan Train
1872 SADDLEBACK VULCAN TRAIN This colorful kit is a replica of the Vulcan locomotive that introduced rail travel in many countries. Molded in four colors and clear, this model has revolving wheels and can be rolled along the short segment of track that is included to illustrate the movement of the valve gear that drove the original. Authentic pinstripe decals round out this antique jewel.

Trevithick Engine
1804 TREVITHICK STEAM LOCOMOTIVE This kit represent the world’s first steam locomotive. Designed to operate with smooth metal wheels on smooth rails, although there were scalloped flanges on the rails to guide machine. It was capable of speeds up to five miles per hour and could 70 men, 20 tons of iron and five cars over a distance of 9 1/2 miles. This model includes the intricate geared driving wheels and the valve gear, all of which move realistically. Included, too, is a coal car with a simulated coal load. The model is molded in color with plated parts.

Rocket Locomotive
1829 STEPHENSON ROCKET LOCOMOTIVE Designed for a competition to create a locomotive weighing less than six tons and pull 20 tons at 10 mph, the Stephenson Rocket won handily and was put into production for the Liverpool & Manchester Railroad. They were the first passenger trains in the world. This colourful black and yellow steam engine model is molded in color and has plated parts. The angled pistons and valve gear move realistically and the train includes a tender with a water barrel, and a strip of track complete with cross ties.
