Creative works are always a team effort. Whether we are inspired by another's work, by nature, by our environment or our experience, we are a team with that inspiration. The current show at the Museum of Modern Art in New York boldly demonstrates how two great artists, Matisse and Picasso inspired and challenged each other to greater creativity. In a sense, they were a team! Here you will find some of the "team" members that have inspired me. I hope they will inspire you as well.

Frank Lloyd Wright has been an influence and inspiration to me. Study the way he integrates the interior and exterior of his creations. Notice how every surface is dealt with. He was as much an interior designer as he was an architect. The work we did for the JCC Association headquarters in NYC was strongly influenced by Wright's designs. Almost any book about Frank Lloyd Wright is worth owning, however this one is affordable and has a very nice history of his work with beautiful color photographs. This book is part of my library.
