If any or all of these appeal to you, you have come to the right place. I don't know you but I know something about you. You are in my class or you have heard about this website from someone.What do I know? I know, you believe something about yourself and your possible talents for interior design. You may have taken a very different path until now. Perhaps you are a stay at home Mom or a Dad who has had to put a dream on hold. Or, like many of us, you have pursued a "practical" career path in something you may do well but you have no passion for.
Well meaning parents, teachers and coaches may have attempted to influence you. Unlike the animal world, we are given choices about our life path.
Can you imagine a mother lion telling her cubs that it might be better to be a cow since they can live a more secure and peaceful life? Of course not, this seems silly. Still, many of us were encouraged to be something that we were not.
My Dad thought I should be an airline flight attendant. He meant well, I would travel, meet people, be well paid, have job security. It has, of course, turned out quite differently. The airline I applied to went out of business ages ago! Thank goodness I didn't take that path.
By pursuing my dream of interior design I have done all of those things and all of the things listed above. How? By being a successful interior designer. What's more, these are only a few of the things I could do as an interior designer.
