Strictly Come Dancing was shot and aired from Blackpool Tower on Saturday, November 7. We are thrilled that our American boy, Brian Fortuna, and his celebrity partner, Ali Bastian, received the first perfect score of the season, and the the first perfect score ever for the Viennese waltz right in the mecca of ballroom. Brian Fortuna and Ali Bastian got a perfect score, 40, for their Viennese waltz. Brian and Ali were in the bottom two last week when she danced the pasodoble with a dislocated toe joint. This week, the tables turned and they received the highest score ever for the Viennese waltz. Fabulous! The dancers and celebrities performed at Blackpool Tower, Blackpool England, for a special edition of Strictly Come Dancing, the original and UK version of Dancing With the Stars. Len Goodman said, "Last week I thought Rickey's dance was the dance of the series. I've now changed my mind, that was!" Alesha Dixon said, "I felt the emotional connection between you tonight. For me, that was very romantic. It was beautifully danced Ali. There was nothing else I would want in the Viennese waltz." Bruno Toniolli said, "A magic venue, an enchanting dance. Dance has the power to lift our hearts and to really make us dream; you did that tonight. Bruce, the host, the UK equivilant of Tom Bergeron, said, "Don't go and spoil it Craig." Craig Revel-Horwood said, "I am very dissappointed. I could not find a single thing wrong with it." Dancers are great, and dancing is a great thing for everyone - let's all do more dancing! Sincerely, Sandra Fortuna |
