Dance Haddonfield through November 14, Intermediate Quickstep, 6-7pm, Sandra Fortuna
Dance Haddonfield dancers are invited to take private quickstep lessons until November 14, 2010, for $50-that is half price for a single lesson. This special is subject to teacher availability and is by appointment only. Everyone who participates in the Catch-up and Keep-up practice 5:30-6:00, will receive a coupon good for one free bronze American style class (Thursday, 6:45-7:30) at Universal Dance Center, Inc.

step in, create frame and top line 1 2 3 4, step side to man's R brushing other ft together 1 2 3, prep step 4
quarter turn S QQ S, progressive chasse S QQ S {be sure to move sideways on first Q}, forward lock step S QQ S {be sure to step outside the lady, but avoid "side-car}
natural turn to back LOD, S QQ, then back S, side S {feet should be side by side}, hold S for hesitation {be sure to turn enough to the R to end facing DC and be ready to continue to move w traffic}
L foot forward to a chasse reverse turn S QQ {keep your head L men-it makes the turn smoother}
R foot back to progressive chasse S QQ S {be sure to move sideways on first Q}, forward lockstep S QQ S.

"FANCIFICATIONS"
1-optional fancy move to dance at the end of the natural turn with hesitation: rising in standing leg, turning body to L and swaying to man's R, S S; dropping into the man's R knee with weight still on R foot and swaying to the man's L, S; side to man's L tap R alongside QQ, side to man's R tap L alongside QQ; L foot forward to step lock step QQ S, take one more step outside partner with R foot, S--now you can continue with the chasse reverse turn
2-after the progressive chasse and instead of forward lockstep, check forward outside partner, S, and dance fishtail, QQ QQ S
3-after the quarter turn, replace the progressive chasse with a reverse pivot, S QQ; cross chasse, S QQ, step outside partner with R foot to follow with the forward lockstep, S QQ S
3a-after the chasse reverse turn, replace the progressive chasse with a reverse pivot, S QQ; cross chasse, S QQ, step outside partner with R foot to follow with a check to fishtail, S QQ QQ S
