Dear Sandy, I wanted to thank you for inviting me to the Comp last weekend. I had an amazing time as usual! I enjoyed every minute of it. Sandy, We just wanted to thank you for a wonderful evening last Saturday night. As always we are in awe of the professional dancers. It makes such an impact watching them up close like that. The ballroom looked beautiful, the music was great, everything ran right on time and the dancing was exciting to watch. This was my daughter's first ballroom competition and I just wanted to tell you how wonderful it was and what an experience to be a part of. She is 16 years old and was dancing in the pregold category. She has only been taking ballroom for 5 months. She does all different genres of dance for the past 11 years and competes in those. I was so excited to be at this competition and she truly loved it also. Thankyou very much, MF

Dear competition organizer: I enjoyed dancing at your competition. It is a rather convenient venue for us and there were lots of competitors in the events we entered. The floor was also a joy to dance on. We always appreciate when organizers go the extra mile to bring in a quality floor.
The hair/makeup vendor that was posted on your website, Anna Demidova, did not show up and left me stuck for hair and makeup as I did not learn she was a no-show until 10:00pm Saturday night. This morning I noticed that the vendor on your website has changed. I was not notified that there was a change and was among a small throng of competitors in the same situation.
Please let me know what happened so that Im not left with the feeling that there was a change and no notification. Thank you for your consideration. CL

....this was my first competition - ever. The ballroom was decorated beautifully, the floor and music was great. I had a fun time and the hotel was fabulous.

Hello Mrs. Fortuna, I wanted to thank you for such an awesome weekend. I dont know if you remember us, Kennedy danced with Nik Pilipenchuk (Proam of course). This was Kennedys first big competition, as well as a really big introduction for us, her family, into the ballroom world. For us it was seeing the beginning stages, and then watching the pros to see where it can lead to with hard work. So again, thank you for a fantastic weekend.
On a different note, Brian asked me to email this picture of he and the baby (Leslie) that we took at the Professional event on Saturday night.

Sandy, as always, Linda and I really enjoyed ourselves, if there is a Festival next year we will have to participate, promise. No excuses but as it came down to finishing the chair I wouldn't have had any time anyway.

Dear Sandy, Wow! What an amazing experience this event has been for me!
Last year I was just a spectator, and this year-I joined in as a competitor...and it has really had a profound impact on me.
I met so many amazing dancers at various levels from amateurs (newbies to competition, like me) to awesome pros that took my breath away. It was so incredible...I was going up and introducing myself to them to tell these dancers how much I admired their dancing and then some of these strangers would tell me they had actually watched and liked MY dancing! Honestly, I just felt humbled by that...as well as truly motivated to live up to their compliments!
So much hard work went into creating this festival...many thanks to you and Andy...and all the people who made it happen. I have a whole new respect for what you do...so amazing! I know it has probably been exhausting for you at times...but I heard so many great comments from the hotel staff, guests, competitors that I hope you know it was well worth it and definitely appreciated. I spoke with a new competitor, like me, from the Indigo Ballroom in Somerville (I used to live in Somerville but never had the nerve to go to that studio). She told me that the group she came with for the competition were thrilled with everything. She said that she wanted me to make sure you knew how impressed they all were, and how important it was to her that her first competition left her feeling so welcome and inspired.
As for all the details you thought of that made things run smoothly (like the assigned judges spots-great idea!) ....I am in awe of all the planning and work. However, let me say now that I hope you will count me in again to help with next year's competition. I really enjoyed it all, even as tired as I was by the end! I have learned so much by competing and by working the competition that I am sure it will provide the kind of growth experience I will put to use as a dancer and as a lover of dance.
I am also more motivated than ever to improve my dancing. So...plan to see me as much (if not more) than ever in class! I'm ready to work on getting my dancing to a higher level!

Hi Sandi, Just wanted to let you know what a great time we had at the Philly Festival. The ballroom looked wonderful - loved the beautiful backdrop. The time you put into the planning was very evident in the way the events were run on time. The music was great too.
It was so much fun competing on Friday afternoon and evening. Our routines felt good and we were happy with our performance. Thank you so much for all the help you gave us to make them look more polished. Can't wait to take them to the next level with your help.
Saturday evening was so exciting. Some of our friends were attending the competition for the first time and it was great to see the looks on their faces as the dancers whirled around the floor hitting lines almost on top of us. I can still remember my first Philly Festival so many years ago and how it felt to be a part of this exciting new world.
You must be incredibly tired today, but proud too, having run such a wonderful event.

Hello, Sandy and Andy. Just a quick note to tell you both that we really enjoyed the weekend, seeing your son, Brian, and all of the dancers. This was our first time attending the championships, and my husband and I plan on making it an annual event. We left around 4:00 p.m. on Sunday because we were really tired but now that we know how everything works, next year we can decide better how we want to organize our weekend. We met a lot of nice people too. I can only begin to imagine all of the hard work that goes into preparing such an event, so thank you! We have next year's dates already on our calendar.

Hi Sandra,The event was indeed fabulous. That was my first time at such an event and I was pretty blown away at the immensity of the event. I had no idea that Ballroom dancing is as big as it is. Brenda and I had a lot of fun competing and will definetly do more events next year. Congratulations on a fabulously run operation. I couldn't believe how much you had to integrate to put that all together.
