Universal's International Style Classes
We request that dancers interested in being part of these classes pre-register. Only dancers on the class roster can be notified of specials or schedule changes. No drop-ins to class-4 week sign-ups only.
International style classes on Saturday are Smooth Pdr at 11:00 and Latin Pdr at 11:45am.
The "GOLD INTERNATIONAL STYLE" classes in Latin and ballroom continue on Wednesday nights. This class is open to new members who demonstrate ability at this level through competition or studio progress test.
A new "BRONZE INTERNATIONAL STYLE LATIN" class is on Monday at 7:30. This is a large class. This is the class for you if you have some dance experience but have not yet learned the terminology and movement elements of the international style. "BRONZE INTERNATIONAL STYLE BALLROOM" is on Monday at 8:15. Learn the structure and artistic elements that make the international style so visually appealing.
The "SILVER INTERNATIONAL STYLE" classes in Latin and ballroom are on Thursday nights. This is the class for you if you are already familiar with the figures which we covered during the 2005 / 2006 school year. It's all listed below.
The "ASSOCIATE LEVEL ISTD CERTIFICATION FOR PROFESSIONAL TEACHERS" class meets on Wednesday at 11-12:30. These dancers are working toward becoming certified in the international style ballroom dances. They will test July 2007. There will be 12 professional exams. No other are school has ever had a certification class of this size and quality.
A new class, "Medal Ready," started in January. Scholarships will be given to all serious and qualified dancers. The ballroom class will be on Sundays at 3pm., Latin on Monday at 9pm.
