On Saturday, May 30, about 20 of Universal dancers went to the benefit for Alzheimers Assoc, at the Taj Majal. The event was organized and hosted by Perla and Manny Nigelan as one of the functions of the South Jersey Ballroom Dance Club.

We arrived about 7pm and enjoyed some hors d'ouvres, some wine, some dancing, a nice dinner with a spectacular dessert. The show was a pro Latin show with the added fun of a junior Viennese waltz presented by Edgar Aliferov and Hannah Germaine. Edgar and Hannah got the most applause. It is probably worth thinking about what will affect an audience and get a real response when putting a dance showcase together.
