Our Staff
Sandra Fortuna is the dance teachers' teacher. She is a registered judge with the NDCA and the WDC. Her dance articles and competition reports on major dance events have appeared in Dance Notes, Dance Beat, Top Line, Dance Week, and other national dance publications. She has been invited to staff dance workshops by the USISTD, Disco America, usadence, various dance schools, many local, international, national dance championships. Sandra is a former professional ballet dancer, and holds a BA in Dance and many top teacher awards and pro-am championship titles. Sandra Fortuna is the editor of Phil E DanZnewZ, a publication whose purpose is to inform dancers of studio news and events and to raise awareness and provoke thought about dancing and its benefits. Universal Dance Center is her school and the Philadelphia Festival and Atlantic Coast Championships is her competition. Sandra welcomes the opportunity to bring Universal's brand of excellence to Dance Haddonfield dancers on Sunday Sept 13-Oct 18, 6-7pm. Aubree Marchione is a dancers' dancer. She has experiene and success as a pro-am competitor both as the amateur and as the pro. She has danced in commercials and professional dance events. Aubree is one of the very few real expert wheelchair dancers in North America. She trains (that means studies toward a specific goal) in international standard, Latin, and in smooth and rhythm. She is the wedding dance specialist. A wedding dance specialist is one who works at preparing the first dance for the bride and groom pulling on extensive talent, experience, training, dedication. Aubree is a creative teacher for our junior program. The children respond to her knowledge and instruction. |
