In the last few years, Vision Plastics has embarked on a company wide continuous improvement effort modeled after the Toyota Production System or "Lean Enterprise" concepts. This means that we are constantly looking for ways to improve our efficiency, quality, safety, and employees skills through the relentless elimination of waste.
Employees are continually being trained to look for opportunities to do things better and implement small incremental improvements. In addition, groups of cross-functional employees, or "Lean Teams", sometimes spend several days making significant (and sometimes radical) improvements to a process or system in our organization. Projects like these are now being held throughout the company on a continuous basis.
It is our expectation as we journey down the never-ending path of continuous improvement or Lean Enterprise, that we will offer our Customers even higher quality products than we have in the past. And, Vision Plastics will continue to be an even greater success.
