A JOY FILLED ONENESS
There is an exciting and happy joy that continues to demonstrate that Westminster Presbyterian Church is ONE congregation even though we worship in four languages!
Whenever this fact is made known to other congregations, they are pleasantly surprised.Most congregations which have multiple language worship services find that they are separated from each other, though they use the same buildings.
The question often asked of Nelson Grande is “How do you do this?”Nelson usually states that what is needed is a congregation that does not want to be separated from each other, that has a pastoral and support staff that enjoys being with and working with each other, and each congregation has a deep respect for the other.In the words of the hymn, “They Will Know We Are Christians by Our Love”.We are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord!
A further demonstration of this phenomenon occurred as additional worship groups have been added to the Westminster family. English, Hispanic, Filipino, and Indonesian fellowship groups now worship together here at Westminster.
