New at Woodlands!
Our own homemade cheese board, perfect for a meal for one, or as a meal starter for two. We currently are serving just two, but we hope to add more in the future. Made on Thursday, they are perfect for the weekend. We hope soon to have them available every day.
Our Local Cheese Board contains a slice of the luscious triple cream Mt. Tam from our local Cowgirls, the smooth Gouda style Carmody from Petaluma’s Bellwether Farms, and Pt. Reyes Blue, the award-winning cheese that defines a creamery. Larkspur’s Rustic Bakery Crackers and a Napa Valley date wheel are included.
The Classic Cheese Board features double cream French brie, organic Cheddar from Spring Hill Jersey Cheese in Petaluma and a dill Havarti, the classic buttery cheese from Denmark. It’s rounded out with fig almond cake and water crackers.
Find them in the deli case right across from the Cheese Department.
Just a reminder we get fresh burrata from Gioia Cheese Company every Thursday. Buratta are amazing rounds of mozzarella mixed with cream. It made fresh just outside of Los Angeles, then immediately shipped for Thursday delivery. Cheese this new is wonderful served with heirloom tomatoes or just drizzled with olive oil and black pepper. It has a short 5-day shelf life, so enjoy it for the weekend then come back the next week for a fresh batch.
