October / November 2009
Tasting Schedule

Friday October 30th Topel Winery
Topel Winery is situated in Mendocino County but source their grapes far and near to achieve the desired and effective results. Join us as we explore the nuances of Grace Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc, Serendipity Monterey Pinot Noir and Hidden Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.

Saturday October 31st Goblin’ Wines.
Since you have braved the frights of this hallowed eve we thought it appropriate to pour some of our fastest selling wines; the ones our customers are Goblin’ up.
Pomelo (by Mason) is fun and affordable Sauvignon Blanc. With 90 points under its belt, Paraiso Pinot Noir has well deserved appeal and Rued Dry Creek Zinfandel is Zin with a capital Z.

November 2009

Friday November 6th Honig Family Winery.
As we turn the corner into the holidays we add to the excitement by reconnecting with one our favorites: Honig! Besides offering well made and well priced wines, they are just great people to do business with. Taste with Steven Honig the delightful line up of Sauvignon Blanc, Rutherford Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Bartolucci Cabernet and Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc.

Saturday November 7th Burgundy & Bordeaux.
We delve into the higher echelons of the French appellations as we preview Louis Latour Montagny Premier Cru la Grande Roche, Domaine Belleville Mercurey Premier Cru Clos l’ Evéque and Domaine Zédé Margaux.

Friday November 13th Michel – Schlumberger.
Some of the second label of Michel-Schlumberger is sourced from the Dry Creek Estate. All are finely crafted and reflect a sense of terrior. We will pour three wines from the Pétanque line including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Syrah. We will culminate our tasting with Michel – Schlumberger
Maison Rouge.

Saturday November 14th Roaming in the Rhône.
The 2007 vintage has yielded some prizes throughout the Cótes du Rhône. Jean – Luc Colombo, with more diverse sources, brings us Côtes du Rhône Blanc Les Abeilles. More southerly producers and villages we will visit are Domaine Cros de Romet Cairanne and Domaine Couroulu Vacquerayas.

Friday November 20th Pey-Marin, Spicerack and Textbook.
Jonathan and Susan Pey have an exceptional bounty of wines that we that we think will fit well with the Thanksgiving feast. Pey-Marin Shell Mound Riesling is prime for starters and turkey. We hope you will join us to taste and decide which red will suit your tastes and table better:
Pey-Marin Pinot Noir, Spicerack Sonoma Syrah and Textbook Napa Cabernet Sauvignon.

Saturday November 21st Wines Fit for a Feast.
As we gather to give thanks we hope there is room for a bottle of two to share with family and friends. Pleas peruse and taste with us the following moment – making wines: Bridesmaid Napa valley Blended White, Alimant-Laugner Pinot Blanc, Balletto Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, Scott Paul La Paulée Pinot Noir and Kendric Shenandoah Valley Syrah.

Friday November 27th Day After Thanksgiving. No Tasting.
