Corporate Retreats :: Law Firm Retreats

Dr. Maynard Brusman facilitates corporate, law firm, and other professional service firm retreats, at some of the most beautiful resorts in the world. We help you deal with difficult business and people issues and create breakthrough results.

A retreat can be a powerful way to confront difficult issues and initiate sustainable change. Collaborating with your retreat planning team, we will customize a retreat that will re-energize participants and re-focus your business enterprise.

Away from the workplace in a beautiful and supportive setting, new and creative insights are gained, relationships improved, and a special purpose discovered.

This sometimes occurs during a special moment while hiking through the redwoods in Northern California

In the silence of a kayak paddle breaking through blue water on Tomales Bay, at the Point Reyes National Seashore in Northern California.

Playing golf at the Silverado Resort and Spa in the Napa Valley, California wine country Enjoying golf, tennis, hiking, swimming or pampering at the full-service spa at the Meadowwood Resort in the Napa Valley, California wine country.
Enjoying the mountain splendor at The Tenaya Lodge - a world-class resort near Yosemite National Park Or rejuvenating in luxury at an ultimate "Hawaiian Classic" Kauai resort where you will be transported back in time to the Kauai of the 1920s and 30s.

How We Work

To make sure that you achieve the desired results from your retreat we follow an eight-step process. The process begins with an initial consultation where we help you clearly define the goals for your retreat. We then prepare a detailed proposal for you describing how we can help you achieve your goals. We then write up a working agenda for the retreat which is refined with input from the planning team.

Our 8-Step Process

  1. Identify Results to be achieved
  2. Form a planning team
  3. Define key tasks and responsibilities
  4. Communicate plans to participants
  5. Develop a follow-up plan
  6. Review progress
  7. Evaluate results
  8. Provide Feedback

“Dr. Brusman has planned and led two highly successful Retreats for our Firm focusing on work/life balance and vision, mission, values, and strategy.”

Faricy & Roen Law Firm
Craig Roen, Senior Partner
John Faricy, Senior Partner

“I have worked with Dr. Brusman personally in his Executive Coaching program. Additionally, I have retained him for a similar program with other members of my senior staff. I have also worked with him on several crucial leadership issues and problems as well as retained him as a facilitator in helping the management team devise and implement strategic and key mission objectives at a management retreat that was held during a critical time in the development of the company. His experience and professional focus was clearly evident and was an integral part in the success of the program. His follow-up as well as genuine concern can be credited with keeping the team on task and focused even after the retreat. Dr. Brusman’s approach and style is clearly unique and not like typical programs that quickly dissipate to the status quo within days of the conclusion of the program. “
