TIME/SELF-MANAGEMENT

1.  Effective time management is really a set of self-management competencies. Your time is your life.

2.  Create principal-based personal vision and mission statements based on core values.

3.  Focus on what is important not urgent.

4.  Planning and goal setting are the keys to successful time management.

5.  You have to pace yourself.

6.  Break tasks down into small accomplishable steps.

7.  Learn to set limits and say "no".

8.  Are you a lark or an owl? Know when your energy is at its peak,

and schedule your most important tasks for those times.

9.  How many people on their death bed wished they spent more time at the office?

10.  Create time for regular spiritual, mental, and social/emotional renewal.
